The Yangtze is one of the great rivers of the world and among the most popular China travel tours. Its beauty peaks around the misty mountains and cliffs of the famous gorges - Qutang, Wu and Xiling. The Three Gorges Dam, a massive hydroelectric project that defies belief, adds another dimension to the experience. Visit the site and then witness the marvel of the huge locks that lift each ship past the dam for a smooth passage onwards. This is one of the few tours of Asia that involve river cruising in China.

Spend a day exploring this gracious and cosmopolitan city. See the former Colonial Concessions along the Bund for a view of the ‘yesterday & today’ of Shanghai, drive to Pudong and stop at the soaring Jin Mao Tower for a breathtaking panorama of the city. Stroll along the alleyways of Old Chinatown and visit the Yu Garden. This evening enjoy an acrobatic show.
