Transfer to Leshan to visit Lingyin Temple, with unobstructed views of the world’s largest Giant Buddha (71 metres) carved into the mountain.This masterpiece of religious sculpting was begun in 713AD and took 90 years to complete. Overnight in Leshan.
Travel to Dazu, one of China's most important archaeological sites with over 50,000 carvings from the 13-19th century AD. Continue onto Chongqing for one night.
