Upon arrival, be transferred to your Guilin hotel.

Cruise along the Li River, with its craggy mist-shrouded peaks, unusual rock formations, and fishermen working from bamboo rafts. The cruise arrives at Yangshuo where you can browse the street stalls before travelling back to your hotel.

Fly to Beijing and transfer to your hotel.

Visit Beijing sights that capture the imagination – the Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven, the splendours of the Forbidden City, plus Tiananmen Square.

See the Pandas at Beijing Zoo and tour the ‘hutongs’ (back alleys) by cycle rickshaw for a behind-the-scenes look at Chinese life at its most traditional. Visit the Silk Market and a cloisonne factory.

Spend a day visiting the Sacred Way, the Exhibition Hall of the Ming Tombs and the Great Wall, one of the world’s greatest wonders. Enjoy a Peking Duck dinner and a performance of ‘The Legend of Kung Fu’.
