Upon arrival, be transferred to your hotel

Visit sights that capture the imagination – the Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven, the splendours of the Forbidden City, plus Tiananmen Square.

See the Pandas at Beijing Zoo and tour the ‘hutongs’ (back alleys) by cycle rickshaw for a behind-the-scenes look at Chinese life at its most traditional. Visit the Silk Market and a cloisonne factory.

Spend a day visiting the Sacred Way, the Exhibition Hall of the Ming Tombs and the Great Wall, one of the world’s greatest wonders. Enjoy a Peking Duck dinner and a performance of ‘The Legend of Kung Fu’.

Fly to Xian for two nights. Enjoy a Tang Dynasty cultural show and dinner.

In Xian, marvel at archaeological wonders – the Terracotta Army of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, the Chariot Exhibition, Shaanxi History Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the city wall.

Fly to Guilin where you will be transferred to your hotel.

Cruise the Li River, with its craggy mist-shrouded peaks, unusual rock formations, and fishermen working from their rafts. The cruise arrives at Yangshuo where you can browse street stalls before returning to your hotel.
